Privacy Policy

Draft — pending legal review · Last updated 24 September 2026

Note: This is a working draft prepared while the store is being built. It must be reviewed by a qualified privacy lawyer before the store goes live.

1. Contact

BBall Store ("we", "us"), part of the BBall family, is the data controller for personal data processed in the store. For any privacy matter, contact geir@otimo.no.

2. What data we process

3. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

We process order and payment data to perform the sales contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and to meet legal obligations such as accounting (Art. 6(1)(c)). Optional features and non-essential cookies rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Processors and sharing

We share data only with providers needed to fulfil your order — payment (Stripe), shipping/carrier, and hosting — under data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.

5. Transfers outside the EEA

Where a processor operates outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

Order and accounting records are kept as long as required by law. Other data is deleted when no longer needed. Try-on images are not retained beyond generating your preview.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contact geir@otimo.no. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

8. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and payment is handled by Stripe so card data never touches our systems.

9. Cookies

We use only what is necessary to run the store, plus — with your consent — measurement. You can manage consent at any time.

10. Changes

We will update this policy as the store develops and note the date of the latest change above.
